These have been two years in the making!

SURVIVE! and Black Scout Survival have been long time friends and are now bringing you an GSO-7/7 BSS Edition.

Taking a year's worth of feedback and never being happy with "good enough", we've completely redesigned the GSO-7/7. With a longer blade, a more generous handle length, and improved ergonomics all around, the SURVIVE! GSO-7/7 is now more capable than ever!

Our high quality Torx T-25 style fasteners are precision machined from 416 stainless steel.  Key features of the kydex sheaths include: excellent retention, drain channels, and several attachment options with slots and eyelets, in addition to the kydex clip.  The peened finish on the blade provides extra durability and is non-reflective.  The spine is sharp enough for use with most ferro rods.

CPM-3V is a high alloyed tool steel, made using the Crucible Particle Metallurgy process, that has a very high impact toughness and excellent edge holding. Being made with the CPM process, this steel is also very resistant to lateral stress (flex) breakage, making it a perfect choice for a high performance, hard use knife. CPM-3V is not a stainless alloy and can stain if not cared for.

A bit of a misnomer, the GSO-7/7 is the only SURVIVE! model that doesn’t indicate the knife’s approximate blade length. The GSO-7/7 moniker is a dedication in memoriam of my best friend, Nathaniel Allen, who passed away on 7/7/2011.

BSS Edition GSO 7/7

This is my first GSO knife and I am very impressed by its workmanship and overall design. I can see why the wait time for these knives are so long. Definitely worth waiting for. Looking forward to putting this knife through some field trials in the future.
