BSS-5
I just wanted to let you know that I got my BSS-5 yesterday. WOW! I have always been a big fan of Survive Knives and have owned a few and currently own a 4.5 Bushcraft. I watched your review on the BSS-5 and you are completely dead on with your tweeks to the knife. You have transformed that knife into a complete do all knife. Bushcraft, Utility, Fighting and all around Survival knife. Thanks Brother!
BSS 5 & Survive!
Hands down one of my favorite knife makers. I own many, the ones I trust with my life the most when I'm out and about, in the woods, hunting. You name it. This is one of my favorite collaborations out there. Perfect size for survival, Jack's input and that sledge making it a little more tough at the front, not that any of Survives knives ever needed it. It's a nice touch. Like I said great size. You can get a lot of camp chores done, battoning wood is easy with these blades. If your looking for a well made, lighter option that's tough as hell. Here you go. I now own two of these models. 1st run and one of these babies. Get it.

Outstanding Collaboration
When I heard Jack mention that a better knife cannot be bought during his late night live recently, I knew that was no overstatement. I have been following SURVIVE! Knives for many years and have managed to get my hands on 6 different models (BSS-5 included). I can say with certainty that Jack is absolutely correct in his assessment of the quality of this and all SURVIVE! Knives.
The swedged spear point and stainless bow drill divot are 2 very welcome changes to Guy’s GSO line and I cannot wait to get some time behind this one. This purchase was made with the intention of gifting to my son when he’s old enough knowing he can unquestionably trust his life to it, but I may just have to pick up another one for myself…no telling if/when this opportunity might come around again.
I HIGHLY recommend picking one up while you can.

I have never been into knives "usually 20 dollar folding knives for edc" but this one is awesome. It got to me in 3 days of ordering. It's big, the weight is nice, made here, and I get to support BSS who feeds alot of great information despite the opposition of the leftist establishment. Thank you, Semper Fidelis.
Beautiful High Quality Knife
Super fast shipping, and well packaged and protected during shipping. I know you may think this knife seems a little pricy but you get what you pay for and you don’t want to be in a survival situation and wish you had something better when your knife breaks. This is the last knife you’ll ever need. You’ll never see another knife and wonder if it is better than the one you have. This is my new EDC and I don’t think another knife in the market compares to it. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase and I’d recommend if you’re on the fence about ordering one, just do it. You won’t regret it.

WOW, what a quality full tang knife this is. This beast of a knife is a fine example of craftsmanship and came sharp enough to shave the hairs on my arms right out of the box. Even the kydex sheath is impressive, just enough retention to feel secure but not so much that you feel like you're pulling your socks up when you pull the blade out.
Yes, it's an expensive chuck of metal, but buy once, cry once. I can see this blade being handed down to my kids if they don't permentaly "borrow" it before I give it to one of them them.

I just picked up my blade minutes ago. The girls at my local post office know I like my knives so I unboxed it for them and explained the steel, hidden lanyard hold, scales and the blackscoutsurvival channel and how I have been watching it for years.
The knife and sheath are tip top quality and it came hair shaving sharp and I tested it. This is truly a knife with a steel you can depend on and will be with you to the end. I told them about a video of a guy hammering a knife with CPM 3V through a huge paving stone with a hammer. This will be my EDC. I am going to enjoy using it. It is a beauty.
