The Black Scout TALON was built around one simple idea:

The TALON combines a curved D2 steel blade with textured OD Green G10 scales, flipper deployment, pocket clip, and an integrated retention/indexing ring.
The ring provides a positive indexing point when drawing and handling the knife while giving the TALON its unmistakable profile.
D2 steel delivers excellent edge retention and durability while the aggressively textured G10 scales provide a secure grip without excessive bulk.

This is my first folding Karambit style pocketknife. I'm still learning how to open it quickly from my pocket to ready to go. It is the perfect size, works well in front pocket carry. The blade and handle quality are excellent, and the flipper movement is very fast.
